All Quilting, All the Time

I’m pleased to report that the “My Favorite Baseball Stars” quilt made by the late Clara Rothmeier fetched $62,500 at auction on Saturday. One of the other quilts, commemorating an early 1950s Cardinals team, went for $10,200. Both quilts feature autographs of players which Rothmeier then embroidered.
